When things change, let them

It is with mixed emotions that I share some significant news about Hazel Moon Botanicals, and my fledgling brand Dirty Girl Labs.

After nearly eight years of hard work, passion, and growth, I have made the difficult decision to close the business by the end of 2024. Though this journey began as a passion project and evolved organically into something truly special, some unexpected setbacks in 2023 coupled with the significant impact of my knee injury have made it clear that continuing to grow the business is not feasible for me.

Reflecting on the wisdom of the quote, "when things change, let them," I have decided to embrace this change and pursue a new path.

In 2025 I will be applying to the Plymouth State University Doctor of Physical Therapy program. This decision comes after much soul searching and a thorough career analysis in the Lakes region. While this next chapter unfolds, I plan to continue operating Hazel Moon in Meredith through late August 2024, focusing on manufacturing our best-selling products. Should there be remaining inventory, I intend to maintain online sales and attend pop-up events.

I am also happy to collaborate with you on pop-up Make & Take events! At your business, school, community group, or with a group of your friends and family.

In the spirit of community and support, I am more than willing to provide referrals to other women-owned small businesses that share our commitment to quality ingredients and transparency. I can also assist you in evaluating ingredient lists to ensure that you continue to offer the high standards your clients and customers expect.

Thank you for your unwavering support and partnership throughout the years. It has been an honor to work with you, and I am grateful for the connections and friendships we have built. I am looking forward to staying in touch and exploring new ways to collaborate in the future.
